Full range of diagnostics and modern effective treatment in our center:
• gallstone disease - laparoscopic cholecystectomy
• Hernia surgery - laparoscopic (endoscopic) removal of inguinal (femoral, interrogative) hernia (bilateral inguinal) hernia during one operation), diastase of rectus abdominis, umbilical hernia, postoperative hernia
• Diagnostic laparoscopy - the possibility of visual examination of the abdominal cavity without incision
• Treatment of adhesive intestinal disease - laparoscopic adheolysis
> • Laparoscopically assisted operations - one stage of the operation is performed under video control, and the second - in the open traditional way after a small incision of the abdominal wall.
• video endoscopic removal of polyps of the gastrointestinal tract (stomach, rectum and colon)
For the first time in 1987 in Lyon (France) Philip Mouret performed removal of the gallbladder under the control of optical technology - laparoscopic shank hystectomy. This was the beginning of the era of rapid development of video endoscopy, which is clearly represented by laparoscopic surgery.
For more than 20 years, laparoscopy has proved not only its right to exist, but now that scientific and technological progress in minimally invasive surgery is moving forward , even the most ardent skeptics consider laparoscopic surgery the "gold standard" in the treatment of some diseases of the abdominal cavity, without which it is impossible to imagine a modern surgical service.
Unfortunately, Ukrainian surgery has developed the idea of the cheapness of open surgery. The mistake of surgeons is supported by decades-old old surgical instruments and devices. Fortunately, many health care organizers, including the leaders of our center, have come to realize that there is no cheap yet effective surgery. Therefore, our center has everything you need to meet modern standards of surgery with the latest technology.
The main advantages of laparoscopic surgery:
- Low trauma, manifested in the form of reduced postoperative pain, rapid (1-2 days) recovery of physiological functions, reducing the risk of postoperative adhesions.
- Maximum visualization of organs. In laparoscopy, the image is much larger than what the surgeon sees with his eyes (modern laparoscopic equipment gives a magnification of up to 40 times, ie the operation is performed almost like a microscope). In addition, modern optics allow you to look at the object of operation from different angles from different angles, which gives a much greater opportunity to view than traditional operations.
- Short period of hospitalization. The postoperative period is often limited to staying in a surgical hospital for 1 day.
- Reduction of the duration of disability from 2 to 5 times.
- Cosmetic effect. Traces of 5-10 mm punctures do not compare with the scars left after traditional "open" operations.
- Reduce the risk of postoperative hernias due to the lack of extensive tissue dissection.
- Economic efficiency. Although the cost of surgery is higher, treatment is more cost-effective by saving medication, reducing the length of hospitalization and rehabilitation of the patient.
The essence of the method:
The method is that thin long instruments are inserted into the body cavity through small punctures, and manipulations are performed under the control of a miniature video camera to treat a surgical disease (eg, removal of the gallbladder, ovarian cyst, or hernia). Operations are performed under anesthesia. Affected organs or their pathological parts are removed from the abdominal cavity through a small cosmetic incision. After that, the skin punctures are closed and the operation is completed.
Thus, laparoscopic operations allow combining advanced surgical access to the latest technological solutions that constantly increase the reliability, efficiency and safety of operations.
